Towards the end of this month BKC has done 3 recent races:
Asklipiio - Asklipiio (GRE)
Nahel Street Race (UAE)
Shaki ITT (AZE)
The Shaki ITT was first, and it did not go brilliantly for our team. The equipment struggles are really getting to us in the time trials. Matjaz Pirnat (SLO) was our best rider in 17th.
The 18th saw us visit 2 locations. First in Nahel, Viktor Huseby (NOR) pulled out a respectable 11th place in a course not quite suited to his talents. Pirnat seemed to be tired from his performance in the time trial. He was also unfortunately befallen with a mechanical issue and finished fairly far back.
In Asklipiio, we had set Jimmi Jøhnke (DEN) as our captain for the first time. His debut as the leader was fairly good, placing 16th. Radoslav Holoubek (CZE) attempted to go for the break, but wasn't able to keep with the pace. Maurits Berggård (SWE) had a mechanical issue and Kingsley Peachey (JAM) unfortunately had a crash and had trouble keeping pace for the rest of the race. Fortunately he is not injured, and will be back into racing along with the rest of the team soon.
